Ronnie "Mack" McAdoo

Founder & CEO

The most consistent and prolific scorer and rebounder in Old Dominion University history, McAdoo completed his four-year career as ODU's third all-time score with 1,776 career points and fifth all-time rebounder with 953.

 

McAdoo was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 1982 and played professionally overseas in France. Ronnie 'The Big Mac Attack'; McAdoo was inducted into the ODU Hall of Fame in 1989.
 

In 1993, Mack accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the age of 33. Mack made a commitment to the Lord, to do anything that was asked of him, except speaking in front of people. God has put Mack in front of people and given him the words to say ever since. It is Mack’s desire to share the gospel with everyone he comes into contact with and to see Christ manifested in the lives of believers. Mack’s life verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come.”

Janet McAdoo

Founder & CEO

A Parade All-American and one of the top players in the country in 1980, Janet left her childhood home in Southern California and came to Norfolk, Virginia to attend Old Dominion University. Janet spent 2 years at ODU and then transferred and graduated from California State University at Long Beach in 1985 and played professionally overseas for 3 years in France, Japan, and Spain.
 

Janet met Mack at ODU and convinced him to marry her after she beat him in a game of one-on-one. Janet has a B.S. in Finance (CSULB) and a M. Ed. From Old Dominion University. Janet taught at Norfolk Christian School 14 years for and began working alongside Mack at 1Died4All in 2012. Janet handles all of the logistics and administration for 1Died4All.

 

Janet and Mack have two adult children, Kelsey and James Michael, and 7 amazing grandkids. Janet accepted Jesus Christ as her savior in 1992 and her life verse is Romans 12:18 “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

Mark Cinq-Mars

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Mark has been the strength and conditioning coach for 1Died4All for the past 20 years. Mark utilizes plyometric exercises as well as innovative techniques to teach speed, explosive training and improve hand/eye coordination. Mark also teaches campers correct jump rope techniques and is an amazing encourager, pushing each camper to do their very best in his customized obstacle courses. Mark has worked for the Norfolk Admirals, Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks and several other NHL teams. Mark is the owner of MANNA FIT (Faith, Intercede, Train).

 

Mark is a graduate of Zion Bible College (undergrad) and Regent University (graduate) and he authentically and beautifully incorporates the word of God into his training. Mark accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior when he was 22 years old and his life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and her will direct your paths.”
